Testing Stations: There will be 9 testing stations available. Registration will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

To Qualify: To be able to take your GED test, you must:

  • Be enrolled in the Warroad or Roseau Adult Education program
  • Have updated reading or math assissment scores on record
  • register and set up a GED.com account
  • be reccomended for testing by ABE instructor Traci Pederson

Cost/Exam Fees: Each of the four GED sub-tests costs $36.  If you are a first-time test-taker, your test examiner will give you a special code during registration allowing you to take your first test free in each of the four areas: Math, Science, Social Studies and Reasoning Through Language Arts.  This is a savings of $144!

Testing Regulations: Exam fees are paid when you register and are not refundable if you fail to show on test day or fail to cancel with 24-hour notice.

A current, valid, government issued photo ID is required before testing.  This includes a valid Driver's License, passport, MN State ID Card, Tribal ID or Military ID. Purses, backpacks, hoodies, hats and caps, and sunglasses will not be allowed in the test center. No food or water is allowed during testing.

Why test at a mobile GED Test Center? Testers who take a test at a Mobile GED Test Center appreciate the use of a handheld calculator for the Math test, a wipe and erase scratchsheet for taking notes or working out problems during the test, and the ability to move or stretch more freely during testing under the guidance of an on-site GED Test Administrator.

For more information or to register please contact, Traci Pederson, Warroad and Roseau ABE instructor at 763-453-0316 or tpederson@nwservice.org
