English for Custodians & Maintenance Workers

English Language Learners- are you ready to improve your English Language skills for jobs in a custodial/janitorial field?  If so, this course is for you. This is a free hyflex course that enhances your English skills for employment in Environmental Service careers. ​

Class Information: 

• Distance Learning Platform: Burlington English & ellii

• Learner Prerequisite Reading Level: CASAS STEPS (197 or above) or TABE (300 or above)

• Learner Prerequisite Math Level: N/A

• Learner Prerequisite ESL Level:  CASAS STEPS (197)

• Attendance via zoom or in-person 80% of scheduled class time. Complete 5 Unit Homework assignments. Complete 50% of Burlington English platform modules. Exception: If miss class, view recordings and complete make-up assignments in place of 80% attendance.
