English Language Learners- are you ready to improve your English Language skills for jobs in hospitality and tourism?  If so, this course is for you. This is a free hyflex course that enhances your English skills and is a bridge to successfully earning certifications in hospitality tourism careers. 

Dates and Times: ​

• Tuesday & Thursday, 6:00 - 8:00 PM 

• Winter: January 5th, 2027 - February 11th, 2027

Class Information: 

• Distance Learning Platform: Burlington English & ellii

• Learner Prerequisite Reading Level: CASAS STEPS (197 or above) or TABE (300 or above)

• Learner Prerequisite Math Level: N/A

• Learner Prerequisite ESL Level:  CASAS STEPS (197)

• Attendance via zoom or in-person 80% of scheduled class time. Complete 5 Unit Homework assignments. Complete 50% of Burlington English platform modules. Exception: If miss class, view recordings and complete make-up assignments in place of 80% attendance.
