Citizenship

If you are a permanent resident of the United States seeking to become a citizen, we can help! Citizenship classes will prepare you for the naturalization process and exam, and will teach you the rights and responsibilities of being a US citizen.

Citizenship classes cover essential topics on the one hundred (100) U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services civics study questions, and practice answering the oral questions on the N-400 application form to gain confidence for the oral interview.  Classroom topics include an overview of U.S. history, geography, civics, and government.  In addition, students will practice pronunciation, reading aloud, writing, dictation, and orally answering the civics questions.

To enroll in a Citizenship class, you must be enrolled in another ABE course first.  Classes are offered both online and in-person.
