Preparation for Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Community First Services and Support (CFSS)

Dates and Times:​

• Tuesday & Thursday, 2:00 -4:30 PM

• Fall: October 20th, 2026 - December 17th, 2026 ( no class November 24th and November 26th)

• Spring: January 26th, 2026 - March 18th, 2027

Class Information: 

• Distance Learning Platform: EnGen, USA Learns

• Learner Prerequisite Reading Level: ESL 3 or higher (197 or above on CASAS Steps)

• Learner Prerequisite Math Level: N/A

• Learner Prerequisite ESL Level: CASAS Life and Work Reading 191 or above

• Attend class via Google Meet 85% of the time. Complete assigned homework and 8 hours a month of distance learning on Engen. If a student is absent more than 8 sessions they will be dropped. Certificates will be given to students who meet the following requirments.
